  1. That depends on the bread.  I LOVE egg sandwiches, but really prefer turkey, etc. separate on a plate (no bread).  Tom is right though:  New Orleans' muffalattas ARE the absolutely best sandwiches ever! .....

  2. New Orleans makes the best sandwiches. Try a Muffalatta. Wow.

  3. cream cheese bagel with doritos :) or scrambled eggs between toast

  4. peanut butter and jelly with dill pickles and mayo...who a club sand..

  5. yes, yes it is.

  6. I eat a salad in a sandwich often.

My favorite is a baguette with hummus, tomatos, lettuce, red onion, green pepper, and cucumbers !

  7. chips (doritos), fries, eggs, ketchup and bacon would be nice and delicious but im a vegan so i have to behave and id go with what Talard M said

  8. Chicken curry or chilli con carne are surprisingly good in a toasted sandwich.

Or try cutting up some steak and frying with onions and mushrooms - I think this is called the bookmakers sandwich but I don't know why.

Roasted vegetables such as peppers, courgettes, aubergine (eggplant in US) and onion - roast in oven with a bit of oil and garlic and herbs if you like.  Leave to cool then spread your bread with soft cheese like ricotta or Philadelphia and tip on your veg. Squeeze down to get the juices into the bread - so yummy.

Oh i just remember I accidentally discover the ultimate sandwich yesterday.  I had left over slices of pepperoni in my fridge, tomato past and the dregs of a jar of pesto and a bit of mozzarella as I had been making a pizza the other night.  I decided to spread the tomato paste and pesto on the bread, filled it with the pepperoni and sliced on the mozzarella but then I thought it would be nicer if the mozzarella was hot and melted but I didn't want to turn my oven on - so I heated up some oil in a frying pan and fried on each side for a few minutes - it was the nicest thing I've ever eaten but probably not a good idea for weight watchers!
