Question:

Is everything fine now with Jesse Jackson since he apologized?

Why when somebody does something bad do they think that saying they're sorry makes it OK? Like the Keating Five, all of whom should have gone to prison but said they were sorry instead. What's really worse, figuring that apologizing makes everything OK, or never admitting your guilt in the first place? Thoughts?

  1. I remember hearing George Carlin say that "only a N can call another N a N". Apparently even that isn't so anymore. :)

  2. for sure!

  3. Why should we accept his apology for saying what was on his mind?  Y!A certainly would not accept an aplogy from anyone saying the same thing - your entire account would be suspended, email and all.

  4. I will never be "fine" with Jesse or Al for that matter...they are what is now known as "super-racist's"...a whole new breed of cat

  5. Honestly, it was a rude comment to make and on air, too.

It's right that he apologized and it's right that Obama forgave him.

He should have been forgiven. It's not a crime to be rooting for the opposite party, it's just rude for that type of hypocrisy on the sly when everyone can hear you.

But still. It was a small mistake.

    Forgive and move on

  6. Of course not. There is an old saying "Talk is cheap, until you hire a lawyer."

John McCain avoided prison along with the other Keating crooks, by apologizing. Such carp should never be swallowed by the public. "Rev." Jackson (where IS his church?) should have the good graces to just go away. But he won't.

  7. Whenever someone else makes racist statements Jessie Jackson, Al Sharpton and the like make sure that person is humiliated and never works again. An apology isn't accepted, it's just a first step in a long journey that person must make to make things right and so on. Somehow though when Jessie Jackson is hypocrite against his own causes one apology does it, lets go on and save the world. What a joke. For a long time people have known he's racially divisive and doesn't help anyone but himself, finally there's some proof.

  8. Everything will never be "fine" with that race-bating poverty pimp and all of his supporters.
