Question:

Is everything in life a choice?

I mean can I choose to believe? Is it really true? Since Allah says that he guides whom he pleases. So it means Allah is the one choosing who to guide, and we have no choice in the matter? So are we free of blame in the end?

  1. Allah Allmighty also Says ,,,those who seek guidance..

do you sincerely seek guidance ?

  2. Salam for you dear.Yes everything in life is a choice.Final decision depends on your choice .Allah gives us 2 kinds of choice bad doing and, good doing, day and night, man and woman, old and young, life and dead, sacred and sin, lucky and unlucky, guided and unguided etc.

Allah guides or does not guide but only Allah who know it exactly So we should try hard to decide ourselves which one will be chosen.Allah has given us a free choice but Allah has given us the life guide (Qur'an and hadits) which should be used for our judgement when we want to select the choice.

If we made the wrong choice Allah will blame us why we do not comply to the life guide. Each person should account for his/her doings on the day of final judgement after resurrection day.

  3. Allah guides u, but ultimately, ure the one who makes the decision here in this life.

    Peace for all!

  4. No you are not free of blame,it is true ALLAH guides who he wishes but you must follow the hadith of the prophet (pbuh) where you tie your camel,or in other words do your part, you cannot just rely on ALLAH for everything, what would be the point of this life?It is a test, what you have to do is pray to ALLAH that he may guide you among the straight path,ALLAH shows you the road,it's your choice to take it.

    Insh'ALLAH this helped ^_^

  5. No.

    Whether you're a brother or whether you're a mother,

    You're stayin' alive, stayin' alive.

Feel the city breakin' and everybody shakin'

And we're stayin' alive, stayin' alive.

Ah, ha, ha, ha, Stayin' alive.

  6. Yes--- but not for Wahhabis because they believe Iblees.

As like Iblees, Wahhabis blame Allah.

Quran 15:39] Iblees said, "My Lord, since You have willed that I go astray, I will surely entice them on earth; I will send them all astray.

  7. Yes, everything in life is your choice. But at the same time, if Allah doesn't want you to do something, he won't let you. Think of it as a violinist playing his instrument. He can guide the strings, but the noise comes as it wishes to. It's kind of like that.

Also, I think the verse is being taken out of context. I believe that in its context, it meant to show that Allah will guide only who He wants to guide, so we can't force anyone.

    Salam.
