  1. yes it is an ongoing theory. but its not jsut saying this is how it happened.

    just recently a link was found showing the evolution of the flat fish. before they knew it had 1 eye on each side. now thye ahve 2 eyes on one side at maturity. the new link has one eye askew towars the topof his head. proof that the fish evolved this way.

  3. Evolution is considered one of the two *CORNERSTONE* theories of modern biology ... the other being cell theory.

    In other words, evolution is as central to modern biology as the theory of atoms and molecules is to chemistry.

    And yes, like *all* theories in science, evolution is always progressing with every new discovery that it explains.   Science never stagnates, never says "this theory is complete."   Ever.

    Science is successful precisely because it never, ever, stops reexamining its assumptions and theories.   Ever.
