Is exercising at night beneficial for your mood for the next day? Or is it better to do it in the morning?

  1. It's better to excercise in the morning because your body is more fresh and your energy levels are higher. It also releases endorphines which can elevate your mood thoroughout the day. Unfortunately excercise in the evening is less beneficial because your muscles are already fatigued and your mind as well. You will have less endurance and see less results because muscles to develop require adequate amounts of rest.

    If you must excercise at night take take it easy, don't overdo it. But you will certainly benefit more from excercising within an hour or two of waking.  


  2. It's best to exercise in the morning. Exercise at night makes it harder to fall asleep, and you need both exercise and sleep to improve your mood.

  3. exercising releases feel good chemicals at the time but that feeling doesn't last that long.  it would be better to exericse in the morning.  also, exercising at nite could affect your sleeping which is counterproductive.  you need a good sleep every nite.

  4. I think exercising in general keeps you steady, so whenever is best for you. Don't do it too close to bedtime, though, or you won't sleep well. Stop at least 1-2 hours before bed and relax.
