Marital or martial?

I will asume you mean to be divided between two disciplines, and as long as they are complimenary, I see no reason not to pursue both. The possible end result could be a hybrid (or b*****d) that takes your personality on. A 2000 year tradition probably got 'pishawed' during the first phase. Only through time will a new idea be accepted.

I think the question you want answered is whether the affair will solve the problems in the main relationship? The answer. no not really. I lived through it and I can tell you that regardless of gender, it's only a short term fix. The hard part is that you really need an answer and with your emotions split you won't find it. It feels good at first but eventually you'll have to choose, or the choice will get made for you.
