Is eye test done at optical complete? what is an optometrist

computer eye testin has resulted in wrong values for me my eyes used to hurt when i used to wear glassses done according to them i spent a lot of money on my glasses

Optometrist is qualified to test eye power and prescribe the glass as per axis , vision and cylindrical.

Wrong prescription is possible

ask him to replace it.

Opthalmologist is the eye doctor

An exam done at a optical shop is usually a complete exam, no doctor wants to take the legal liability if it is not. How long have you had the glasses, it usually takes a couple days to adapt to new prescription, if it has been a couple days, take the glasses to your doctor and let them double check the glasses and your eyes and fix the problem, it's all done at no charge providing you had your orignal exam done recently.
