Is face guard the only thing that "slows" not stop Kobe?

Question

I saw shane battier play the best defense on kobe than any other player, yes he still scores on him but he makes him work for his shoots.

In 06 Kobe had two 50 points game against Battier ...so i really don't know about stopping him....

You can make him work hard....u can make him a Volume shooter but stopping a guy with that many of talent ......i don't think you can.....

But to make Good offensive player work hard you have to move you feet Quickly...and trying to put your hand in there face as many times as you can...and hope they miss it...

It definitely stops Kobe from getting in a rhythm.

You last season I think Shane was the most decent Kobe defender. I mean he didn't resort to any flopping and used the oldest trick in the book. It takes a special skill and timing to get that hand up at the exact time to bother the shooter. By getting his hands onto Kobe's face, Bryant has to readjust his shots. At times he fails to do it and he misses his shots.

The only times that Kobe gets in his usual game is when he drives hard to the basket because his perimeter game has gone to a halt with Shane covering his face time after time.

the slowing down of Kobe is all up to none other than Kobe.

If kobe is being Kobe, then he will make fadeaways with the hand in his face over yao ming.
