I worked at a family dollar in Alabama. I wouldn't recommend anyone working there. I would keep looking other places.

I would assume any dollar store would kind of suck to work at. why not try a video store or auto parts or something where it might be a little more stimulating.

Its a great place to work and its not that hard. only the one day of th eweek when the truck comes in to deliver all the stuff sucks

Family Dollar is a great place to work.  I've been there for 2 years; and I even sometimes abuse the 10% discount. I bought a pair of running shoes for $9, and they weren't even really for me. I hope no one finds out.  I will be in big trouble by the assistant manager, Marty McDoodie.
