Is farming hard in coastal region of california and why? If it is hard, why is it hard? if it is easy, why is it easy? What kind of farm is there in the coastal region and why is it there? I need these answers for my project. name some good website that helps, thanks

  1. Nope!  Popular to contrary belief, California is not all beaches and volcanoes...I'm not sure where that came from.

    The central coast region of California is made up of good soil and great weather.  The weather is similar to that of the Mediterranean region in Europe.  

    We grow lots of wine grapes, strawberries, and vegetables like broccoli and cabbage.  There are also plenty of cattle here and they graze quite comfortably on the many hills we have here.
