Is fastfood actually safe to eat?

Well, by and large it's not actually poisonous.

But by and large, it's hideously unhealthy.

Like the person above me said, read Fast Food Nation. That book killed my appetite for fast food completely.

Yes, Fast Food is safe to eat.  There are a lot of rules and regulations pertaining to food and places that serve food.  They are inspected on a regular basis and would be shut down immediately if anything was unsafe.

Most of the "outrageous" stories you hear are not true.  You can always check snopes.com for the facts when you hear one of those rumors.

some times yes some times no. same as any food you did not prepare for yourself. what gives fast food a bad rep. is all the kids working in the kitchen. but i have seen grown men not change their gloves or wash their hands for over four hours, while cooking, emptying trash, wiping sweat off their forehead and picking their nose.

it depends upon d location of that fastfood, and also try to take a view on their kitchen so that way u can decide if it is good and safe to eat or not.. also, try to smell and taste first before eating alot,.

Some of the bad stories may be true,  however fast food is generally safe. Sometimes the McDonald's I work at  can see about 100 cars an hour. Think about that- that is more then 100 customers *people may order for other family in or out of the car*- in the span of only an hour at 1 store. How many people eat fast food in 1 day, including other companies like Burger King? A vast number, and how many bad stories do you hear? Probably a relatively low number. Yes it it safe, maybe not the healthiest, but even that depends on what you order. If fast food restaurants were not safe, they would be closed down.
