Question:

Is fasting accepted without 5 daily prayers?

I have read some articles saying that fasting is not accepted without 5 daily prayers during Ramadan. To be honest I didn't know about that. I always thought that it is better to do at least what you can do at this moment rather doing nothing at all. What is your opinion?

  1. of course it's not !

u can't do one thing and ignore the other ... u have to do the five pillars of islam

    1-shahada

    2-salat (prayer)

    3-zakat( charity)

    4-hajj

    5-sawm ramadan (fasting ramadan)

  2. ok, you do what you can and dont worry about what anyone else thinks and that goes for the Mulla etc etc

its between you and God, though without prayer its hard to have that "connection" with God and so its better if you do, but dont do it because its ramadan, do it only because you want to.

  3. The only differce bettween a muslim and non-muslim  is praying brother dont you fear Allah DONT YOU FEAR THE DAY OF JUDGEMENT DONT YOU FEAR THE FIRE BROTHER IF YOU BELEIVE IN ALLAH PRAY TO HIM BECAUSE HE IS YOUR CREATOR HE ONLY ASKS A SMALL AMOUNT FROM YOU IS TO PRAY AND FAST AND PAY ZAKAT AND BE A GOOD MUSLIM BROTHER DONTLET THE SAATAN PLAY WITH YOU ALLAH IS THE ALL KNOWING SO THINK OF THE FIRE THAT IS WERE THE KAIR'S AND MUJRIMMUIN AND HIPOCYITES GO BROTHER DONT OF THE LOSER AND PRAY TO CREATOR AND ASK FOR THIS HELP BECAUSE WE ARE ALL ASTRAY WITH OUT ALLAH'S GUIDENCE ALLAH HO ABKAR ASSAMULAKM

  4. Of course it is. We get rewarded for the good we do and punished for the bad seperatly. Your fast and Salaat are  seperate things you will be judged on them seperatly. It's better to do atleast one than to not do any.

But remember, just as we are rewarded 7 times more for the good things we do during ramadan, we are also punished equally. The satan is locked away during the month and so everything you do is pretty much yourself. Take ramadan as a chance to better yourself and pray more often.

  5. What's the point of fasting without praying? There is no point, you just go hungry for the day. Ramadan is not just about not eating food, it's about reforming your inner self. It's about starting over, trying to be a better Muslim and better person. It is about praying more, reading and studying Qur'an more, avoiding bad speech (lying, gossiping, arguing), giving charity, trying to follow what Islam teaches and praying that Allah will give you the strength of character to continue these good deeds all year long and not just during Ramadan. You can not be a good Muslim without praying, in fact you can not even call yourself a Muslim if you don't pray. So a person who does not pray while fasting is not really fasting, he/she is just skipping a few meals until dark.

  6. No it isnt accepted. Not doing salah during Ramadan is a serious sin. I know a godless guy who only does the 5 prayers during Ramadan.

  7. both fasting and salaat are fard on every muslim and it is better to keep a fast rather than to miss the fast due to the fact that you may not be able to perform the five daily prayers

Allah knows best and may Allah forgive us if we do wrong

  8. Fasting is not attached to Salaat but both are mandatory.

  9. No

    I'm sure its not

  10. How hard is it not to pray???  I mean even if you were trying to hide you were muslim, you could just sit at your desk at work and go through your prayer.
