  1. Why would you buy faux cork?  Cork is already "green" as it is a renewable resource.  It is made from the bark and doesn't kill the trees.  


  2. Like wine corks?  They are made of non recyclable plastics.  Real cork is the bark of cork trees and a renewable resource that is considered very green.
