YES! mozilla is REALLY safe, and a whole lot faster than internet explorer and other browsers. I really like the add-ons which let you configure your computer the way you want it.

Yes, fire fox is completely worth downloading.

It makes web browsing safer, it warns you if

you go onto a site that is likely to have something

bad on it.

It basically upgrades itself, each time it gets better

and faster.

You should definitely download it.

Firefox is definitely worth downloading. It is a much better browser than Internet Explorer. It loads web pages faster and has much more regular updates - this is especially important for quickly patching exploits. Mozilla (makes of Firefox) usually patch exploits in Firefox within a week. The fastest time Internet Explorer has patched one exploit took almost 300 days. Firefox also has thousands of addons which extend the functionality.

If you have Internet Explorer 7, then I don't think it is worth your while downloading Firefox. It doesn't work as well as IE7. There are many pages on the web that don't work at all on Firefox, and IE7 has all the security features as well.

Mozilla Firefox is definitely worth downloading.  Not only is it much safer than Microsoft's Internet Explorer, I find that it runs smoother and that I have a lot less problems with pop-ups.
