  1. like everyone else said..nonononono!! stretching is never bad for u..as long as u stretch correctly!

    xD

  2. No way , if anything its better! Flexibility stops stretched muscles etc! To be flexible is good as it might prevent the risk of arthiritus etc.. The only time it does get dangerous though is when you dont warm up and you pull muscles! Hope i helped :)

  3. NONONONONONONONONONONONONONONONONONONONO... ITS GOOD FOR YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  4. others may think it is bad after a while because even the best who are flexible do get injured but dont let that stop you because then you can go on to try for the olympics in doing gymnastics.

  5. no it is good to be flexible i love it there are some thing that flexible people can do that others can't like getting on a horse it is easier for flexible than others it is a good privilege.

  6. NO! It will actually stop you form getting arthritis when you are old.

  7. no!! stretching is good for your body in the long run. just don't stretch so that you pull a muscle.

  8. Not if you stretch correctly.

Warm-up first with smaller stretches and then do splits last.

If you start with your splits you can pull a muscle.

  9. The body has a balance between flexibility and stability.  Your inherited body type determines a lot of how flexible or stable your joints are, and will determine the degree to which you can successfully perform various physical tasks without injury.

Most weightlifters are the stable (endomorphic) body type, with tightly fitted joints and less flexibility.

Most gymnasts are the flexible (ectomorphic) body type with looser, very moveable joints.

The majority of us are in between those extremes (mesomorphic)

If you are preparing to do a lot of heavy lifting or the like and require stable, solid joints you would be best to do warm-ups which do not over-emphasize stretching prior to the activity.  Then following the activity, gentle stretching is wise.

If you are preparing to do an activity like dancing or basketball or gymnastics, carefullly done stretching will serve an important role in your warm-ups.

Random or haphazard stretching can be dangerous, but well planned stretching appropriate to your activities is an excellent safety measure.

    I hope this helps

  10. No way. Unless you pull a muscle or something which you wouldn't do if your stretching correctly.

  11. HELLO! :) No wayyyy! Flexibility is a great thing to have! If your a dancer or sports player or whatever you do no matter what-flexbility will come in need. it will make you feel better as well! I am a dancer and stretching is 1/2 the class, it's really important. Especially when your a dancer-being flexible is really good because it makes you stand out and be more confident!!! HOPE I HELPED! :)
