  1. It is not appropriate in an professional environment and NEVER appropriate if one or both parties are married, and not to eachother.

  2. He!! no, unless you want to get fired.

  3. No..lt is not appropriate...but it happens in the majority of workplaces.

lt comes down to human nature and therefore comes naturally.

  4. Work places are still social places that inherently include social interactions, flirting will naturally occur, but it should always be kept in check. Unmarried people can do whatever they want within the rules of their workplace environment, married people have to figure out what's appropriate for their relationship.

  5. I've always thought of flirting as totally being appropriate social contact when done properly and appropriately and at proper times.  saying to someone you work with that they look good and giving a little flirty look and moving on, is acceptable, exchanging numbers, is NOT!  It is a socail thing that should NEVER be construed as LEWD, LASCIVIOUS, or as actually being serious.  Like "Oh Tom, you are the MAN!" and throwing ones hair and giggling, might be acceptable if you do it after Tom has carried some boxes out of the store room for you and set them at your desk.  However, doing that in FRONT of Tom's wife while she is there to pick him up for lunch would be considered poor taste and inappropriate.  Flirting should be done only in the most lighthearted and safe manner.  If one teases the lion, one might get bit.  So doing this with the office Lothario is just plain stupid.  Doing it with the cute guy in accounting who was kind enough to hold open the office door for you is well, common social interaction!  I think of flirting as a way of saying "I like you, I think you are fun and nice, and I like that you like me too".  Flirting shouldn't be USED to get your way, to ruin ones reputation, or to lead anyone on.  Anyone who might misconstrue flirting, should definetly not be flirted with.  Hope this helps you!  Good luck!

  6. only single people. its not right to do the wrong thing by your partner in that way, flirting always leads to more if u work with them.
