Is flying into Canda from the US considered an international flight?

In other words, do I need to be at the airport way early or will an hour suffice?

  1. It is international.  However, how early you have to arrive depends on the airport in question, which you did not specify.  Please phone your local airport or the airline with which you're flying and ask them.  Anything else is going to be hearsay and won't help you.  It may even hurt, if you follow incorrect advice and so miss your flight.


  2. Yes it is an international flight. Search the web for your departing airport and it will tell you how early to be there for clearance. I left Toronto for Florida last year and was there 90 minutes early with no problems.

    well at least it is when i've flown canada to us and return

    so sadly you will have to be there early

  5. Not really. They call them "Transborder". Large airports have domestic, transborder, and international terminals or piers. The difference is you clear customs in canada, instead of your arrival destination.
