Is flystrike a killer

my rabbit has just gone to the vet.

shes been looked after by some animal carer folk whilst we were away on holiday and she has came back with flystrike.the woman tried to get rid of it but my mum has taken her to the vet.

shes already had it once before,

what do you think,can it kill your rabbit?

  1. If left untreated, definitely.

    It CAN be treated, but if it's very severe, sometimes the rabbit doesn't make it even with treatment. Many times they recover just fine, though.

    Good luck with your rabbit, and I hope you got your money back from whoever was watching her!
