  1. No.  It means people with no food would rather have a fit and blame someone else than go out and try to grow some.

  2. As much as I love elbow room of my own and hate over crowding, its more likely a sign of poor transportation of food from those who have it to those who don't and civil wars.

  3. more farmers are making food crops like corn for ethanol fuel because they get a bigger profit, costs going up, inflation, we have not even come close to reaching mass yet.  It's just that people are greedy and there is enough food for everyone it's just that the all mighty dollar is greater.

  4. h**l why not

    wonderfully stimulating

the world has PASSED its sustainable limit and we are seeing the results everywhere - rioting.. global warming, pollution, stress...

the united Nations determined a limit of 5 BILLION - we are over 6.5 Billion...

  6. yes, that sounds right to me in there.

  7. it is a sign of GREED.

I don't think the world has passed peak population yet, although we may if the population keeps growing.  There is plenty of food to turn into ethanol, plenty to grow meat for wealthy nations, plenty to throw in the garbage at restaurants...

  8. As the Earth becomes ever more polluted, basic resources will become more and more scarce. I think we are seeing the beginning of some dire days.

We are not destroying the Earth though. It was here before humans and will be here after humans. We are merely destroying our own habitat.

Nuture shows that when ecology is out of balance, then there are self correcting measures. such as species extintions and die offs.

  9. Probably not.  It's more likely a sign of an inept government or poorly planned resource allocation, or some OTHER poorly planned government attempting some misguided assistance in a foreign country.

  10. It is more a sign that many world leaders are more interested in their personal gains than the needs of their people...

  11. It is a sign of serious global problems that will hit us in the not too distant future. Wake up everyone.

  12. no. poeple have been fighting over food back in cave-man times. allthough there is a massive amount of people in the world, the more people there are; the more people to make food. i don't think the world will end in any of our lifetimes.
