Is forensic anthropology anything like the show, BONES.?!?!?

The Show glamorizes it, it is the study of crimes and the study of bones it takes a well qualified team. Forensics is a complete study in of it's self. I have a colleague that is a forensic psychologist.

You might already be aware of this, but the series Bones is based on a series of novels written by a forensic anthropologist.

I've never seen the show, but I enjoyed the novels that I read of the series.  It certainly isn't as dramatic in real life, but the scientific aspect of it is likely fairly accurate.  Kathy Reichs is the author if you're interested.

Edit:  I meant, real life isn't as dramatic as the novel!
