Is forging a bad hobbie for a 13yr old?

Ok bottem line is i want to get into forgin but my parents wont let me and im wondering if its bad for me......

dude it all depends im 16 and if i ened to get a test/quiz signed and i got a low grade honestly i would just forge it no ahrm inb that but if its sumthing big like a permission slip for a field trip you will get in big trouble =p

No, I don't think it would be bad for you in the least. As a matter of fact, I think it's quite nice to see someone interested in smithing.

It can be dangerous if you aren't careful and I am sure you parents just don't want you to get hurt. Plus, in this day and age, it's not something most people do so they might think it a bit odd at first.

Really, just get some information on it and talk to your parents, show them what you have found on it and why you would want to get into it. Just remember to stay calm and reasonable as you talk to them and explain things as best you can.

as in forging a signature?

if that's what your referring to i don't think you should do it.

it's good to let your parents know things that need to be signed, because they have importance.
