  1. uuuuh no its not banned in this part of NY

  2. Not everywhere, but some places have. England has banned horse-backed fox hunts, I am not too sure about anywhere else in the world. In Ontario (excluding All of Ontario north of French and Mattawa Rivers) you can hunt Red Fox all year, and above the boundary I just outlined, you can hunt them from September 15 to the last day of February of the next year. For Arctic Fox, you can hunt from October 25 to March 31 of the next year. Gray Fox are on the endagered species list so you can't hunt them.

  3. The bloody Labour party have banned it in the UK.

The Conservatives took away our hand guns and semi auto centre fires.

  4. Not in the states. At least not in my state but we don't have foxes where Iive, we have coyotes.

  5. i didn't know it was banned any where

we got a 4 -5 mo. season in va.

  6. No.  If fox hunting were banned - you would see a sharp increase in rabbies.  Fox are one of the few cannies able to contract this disease and not die - they can shake it off and continue to infect other mamals.

Where I live in Alaska, fox season is open from mid September to end of March.

    Hope this helps.

  7. Indiana Red & Grey Fox season starts Oct 15 and runs through Feb 28 of 2009.   Trapping Starts the same day and runs through Jan 31 of 2009.
