  1. No, they went to Euros some time ago.  If I remember correctly, they tried German marks for a few years in the 40's, but that didn't work out so well.


  2. France has been on the Euro since Europe began using it.  2000, I believe.

  5. the old persons stil think francs and converse ,but the money is euro ,the prices are now quiet the same than before in francs !

  6. france and many other eupropean countries have converted to the use of the euro as the official legal currency. francs are merely collectors items now but can probably still be converted to euros at banks in france.

  7. No but if your worried that you have francs, certain bills can still be exchanged at certain branches of the Banque de France (depending on the amount and the look of the bill).  Coins are no longer exchangeable.

    The information's available on their website, but only in French (sorry!).
