As well as in Russia?

Does it matter who rules Europe?

  1. what makes you think that.

  2. What do you know about Europe? Have you ever been beyond the shores of the USA?

It mkaes me laugh to hear Americans talk about how free they are. It doesn't seem to matter that their imbecile of a president can label any one of them them at any time an enemy combatant, and have them flown to some podunk shithole for a little light waterboarding followed by a legthy stay at the Guantanamo Bay Concentration Camp. Or that the security services can monitor their emails, phone calls, text messages etc without a warrant or even a semblance of probable cause. Perhaps if Dubya decides to declare a state of emergency before the election and stays on indefinitely they might think differently?

As for Russia, it is well known for annexing nations, and the former eastern bloc states suffered terribly during the Cold War years. Yet nobody mentions (certainly not in the USA) that the US government has overthrown dozens of democratically elected foreign leaders since the end of WW2, either covertly or directly, and all in the name of installing a more US-interests friendly leader-nothing at all to do with freedom. The USA is perfectly fine with terrorists and dictators, as long as they are favourably disposed to US interests and trade.

I suggest you get your info from somewhere other than Fox News or the latest drivel to be read out by the White House press office

  3. No. Unlike you, we support freedom from fear of the cost of medical treatment, freedom from want, freedom from the savagery of economic anarchy, freedom to opt for abortion where it is necessary, freedom from the fear of lunatics armed with automatic weapons...do you want me to list any more?

And what matters most of all at the present time is that Europe rules Europe.  Not the US empire.

Go home, and take your collaborators and bovine excrement with you!

  4. Is imperialism a concept still accepted in the USA???

  5. Yawn

Another stupid question asked by yet another stupid child who has never travelled any further than their mommies bedroom.

Go back to playing with your GI Joe and leave understanding concepts like freedom to the grown-ups.

  6. yes

  7. Many of us paid the price for freedom, and none more so than those who felt the war that waged our lands in the second great war.

We spent the next 50 years grappling with that concept, and discovered that's all it was.

Again, Freedom is merely a word.

  8. No, freedom is pretty strong; but American Imperialistic thoughts of global hegemony are reviled.

I suggest you broaden your news-media horizons.  Try learning a foreign language, say German, and read Deutschewelle.de, or perhaps visit Itar-Tass.com, Iran-Daily.com, among other non-American news outlets.
