for me, it was the best skool year of my life!! haha

it is the easiest year, wen it comes to studies, other than senior year...

u shud try havin alot of fun on ur freshman year, cuz sophmor gets tougher and junior is relee hard, then senior becomes easy too, if u did well ur freshman n sophmor and junior year ( thats wat ereone tells me, but ima find out this year wen i becom a sophmor) but i recommend workin hard on ur freshman year cuz its important not to slack off...ur freshman year will be fun if u make it fun!=)

Not really.  A lot of it is being orientated into high school life and most of that stuff is pretty boring.  The best part is is that there's nothing much you have to worry about like state testing and SATs/ACTs and applying for colleges.  It'll depend on what your school does for freshmen though as to whether or not the orientation activities will be fun.

I actually found it very refreshing from my middle school scheduale. My first few weeks there I found I had soooo much more freedom (walking halways, and doing stuff during the lunch period). I also found the people to be soo much more mature and laid back than in middle school. Freshman year of highschool is really fun, but it's also important, so make sure you get good grades b/c if you don't it will mess up your entire 4 yr average.

Well. i'm 15 and just got out of freshman year.

If you don't join anything, and don't participate in stuff then yes it will be boring.

try to join a sport, make tons of friends, participate in activities. i.e. dances, football games, asb. etc.

it will be extremely fun don't worry.

i made so many friends, i went to all the football games, dances and everrything..i had a blast.

I actually think middle school was worse than high school.

kids in high school are so much more mature. but they can get really immature if you p**s them off. lol.

so don't p**s anyone off.

and teachers are much cooler. they aren't all uptight like middle school teachers. they give you more freedom, and they are more laid back.

It all depends on your attitude. If you put yourself out there, attempt meet new people, and be yourself. It will go a lot easier. Contrary to the movies, the elitists aren't the only ones that have all the fun. You just have to find your niche. Try things that seem like it might be fun. Join a sport, club, or even student government. It'll help a lot to find people with similar interest. Do things for yourself...don't just do things because people tell you to.
