Is fruit as healthy grounded up like in a smoothy as healthy as fruit in whole form?

I love to make my own smoothie and they taste sooo good. I'm wondering if it's as healthy. I basically put bananas, yogurt, sometimes strawberries and other fruits in my smoothies. I just hope I'm not eating more calories.

  1. Calorie and food intake are exactly the same as if you just ate the fresh fruit. except for the milk, if you use milk.


  2. smoothies r healthy but if u take the fruits as a hole without blending them in the blender its healthier.


  3. You are only eating the calories from what you add.

  4. if u add things in it like milk yogurt and such u r adding more calories... but u r still eating ur fruit it depends on how u make ur smoothy... do u add sugar to it them it won't be as healthy if u make a low fat and low cal smoothie then ur good enjoy ur fruit it is a good way to get ur fruits down!!
