  1. yes he's qualified but he's not going in.

  2. I think that anybody that has enough money to buy a ticket is qualified to enter the Hall of Fame.

Anderson is a good player but he won't be elected to the HOF so the only way he will be able to enter it is by buying a ticket.

  3. No.  According to the generally accepted Hall of Fame likelihood ratings, he's not close:

    Black Ink: Batting - 4 (406) (Average HOFer ≈ 27)

    Gray Ink: Batting - 51 (485) (Average HOFer ≈ 144)

    HOF Standards: Batting - 32.5 (223) (Average HOFer ≈ 50)

    HOF Monitor: Batting - 61.0 (301) (Likely HOFer > 100)

  4. Anderson is a good player who has had a solid career, but he is likely not a Hall-of-Famer.

  5. First, he has to be retired for 5 years.  Next he needs way better numbers.  Good player but not HOF quality

  6. Not at all

  7. Bill James, the baseball statistician has created two different ranking systems to assess how "Hall of Fame worthy" a player is.

The first is the HOF Standards.  The typical HOFer averages about a 50 on this scale.  Anderson is a 32.5.

The second is the HOF Monitor.  The average HOFer averages about 100 on this scale.  Anderson is a 61.
