Is gas going to go back down at all??????

i was just wondering if anyone had the inside scoop and i wanted to know if anyone knew if gas prices were going to lower before Thanksgiving or Christmas. I dont think they will but are they?

they won't go down excessively ever again. they might drop a few cents here and there, but it won't be back down to $2 anymore. the reason being is because the oil we are trying to consume takes more effort to reach, since it's lower under the surface. therefore, it takes more money to access it. it's not the fact that we're running out of gas, just the fact that where the gas lays is hard to reach. that's why gas is getting more expensive. so unless we can find a cheaper way to access the gas, i doubt the prices will be getting any lower.

The cost is going to increase some more, so don't plan on it. They are trying to keep oil from hitting $100/barrel by releasing more oil into the market, but it might be too late for it to do much good right now.  It hit over $98/barrel last week.

We can hope but I doubt it maybe next year.  Gas is just going to keep fluctuating but it probably will go higher before it goes lower.

eventually it might. But i just read in the news that they are planning to raise gas prices by 20 cents.

gas went down 0.17 here today
