  1. I would be hugely suprised if we so it increase that fast. There would have to be something to majorly cut supply or cause a drastic increase in demand. A nasty hurricane in the gulf might do it. But without some event, I would be hugely suprised if it rose that fast.

And it's more expensive in Europe not because of the price of the gas, but because of the massive taxes the government puts on gasoline there.

  2. in england gas is £10 a gallon already and rising everyday

  3. no that's a lie. the gas prices will slowly climb higher every year due to world wide increase demands but not reach $7 by september. it might reach $7 in about 2-3 years but not now.

    only in the united states.

it's a total different story if you are talking about other countries. some european countries already pay $7,$8,$9 + for a gallon of gas. they actually use liters not gallons but after the conversion ratio it's pretty close to these figures. google it and it will show you what every country gas price averages is.

  4. No!

Our current economy could not absorb a price increase that dramatic.  Our county's economy is based on travel and transport.  I am not saying that $7.00 is impossible, but to do so in a few months would destroy the economy as no one could afford to go anywhere.  There would be massive unemployment as the economy reacted to this.

In a few years maybe, but not this year.
