  1. Gelatin by itself is NOT dangerous.It is a Protein derived from cartillage,Skin of Animals.Mostly from Bovine calf.It is used in foods as gelly--in drug industry for preparing capsules.It is also used in Photographic films and explosives.  


  2. Gelatin is non toxic and found in many foods, especially jelly candies. There have been reports of children choking on certain jelly candies but otherwise I believe that gelatin is not dangerous.

    I also believe that you are getting confused between gelatin the food stuff and a guilatine that is the large contraption that involves a big knife falling on your neck that the french did use to execiute people with
