I just want to know. Like if you have black hair and you want to have blonde hair can you have them change it? If so how is it done?

  1. To bamma: ummm..... WOW.

On topic: I don't know, maybe in the future gene splicing will be used on humans. But as of right now, it's pure theory. I'm not even sure they've started experiments with it yet.

Just don't listen to Bamma. Bamma's had one too many drinks today.

  2. Bamma say bleach work for him. Bamma say he born coal black hair. Bamma say he forget shampoo. Bamma say clorox get clothes clean. Bamma say try on hair. Bamma say instant bimbo. Bamma say eye burn for a week. Bamma say he no recommend using on pet. Bamma say human only please. Bamma think he help you. Bamma say so.

  3. It seems that gene splicing is an upcoming phenomenon in the world of genetics, but it hasnt as yet been trialed on humans and to be honest i dont think it will be for a long time. You need to be very precise with the restriction enzymes used to splice out the gene and the vectors or whatever other method used to replce the gene is accurate or you'l end up medling with other parts of your DNA!..dangerous!

However success has been found in embryonic gene splicing that took place to the most closely related animal to humans in evolutionary terms i.e. monkey, in which the hair gene was substituted using gene splicing to result in the monkey becoming more like humans!

so there is hope but not for a long while....

    :)

  4. It might be possible. There are reasons to suspect gene modification has been used already on some olympic athletes.

They do it by building a virus with the gene modification desired and infecting you with it.

The virus invades the cells of your body and splices the gene it carries into your genes.
