  1. The therapeutic genes are delivered to the person in one of several ways, a gene "gun" that fires very small particles coated with the genes, a defective virus that injects the genes into the person's cells and possibly other ways.  Once the genes are injected, the host cells will replicate by asexual reproduction.  Therefore it is "asexual!"


  2. Gene therapy is not reproduction and your question doesn't make sense

  3. Huh. I'd say asexual, because mitosis would cause the cells with the right genes to multiply, but I'd hardly call gene therapy reproduction.
