Is geography still studied in the USA?

I studyed it in 5th and 8th grade, but I already knew everything I was tought. I already knew every capital by 2nd grade.

Yes, it is still studied in high-school and you can major (Bachelor's Degree) in geography in university and there are even Master's and Ph.D. in the subject - Granted the latter two are more specialized in a one or two areas of the subject.

But yes, you can still study geography in the U.S.
