  1. I thought it was surprisingly good.  I wouldn't say it was great, but I thought it would be bad and it wasn't.

    It's like 8 Mile and Hustle and Flow because it's main character is a rapper trying to "make it". It's not like them because it's very much a documentary of 50 Cent's life (with name changes).

    It's set in a low income community, just like an area 50 Cent probably grew up in.
