Question:

Is getting a 3 on AP World history exam bad? Or does it even matter to UC colleges? collegeboard says it does?

  1. As long as you get the college credit, it doesn't matter! Colleges want to see that you are challenging yourself by taking AP classes which is more important than the scores!

  2. let me make this clear:

    NOT BAD! NOT BAD! NOT BAD!

    I've heard that it's not a factor in *admission*. Once you've actually been *admitted*, then a score of 3, maybe higher for prestigious schools, will qualify you for credit.

    A (passed) AP course on your transcript can only look good. A passed or very good exam score will look good and appeal to colleges, while a failed exam won't matter.
