Is it a lot of hard work?

When college starts I'm going to work out at the gym 2-3 times a week and on saturday and sunday monrnings im going to do 15 minute ab exercises.

I've stopped drinking diet coke and have cranberry juice and water instead! I do have a diet coke once a week though!

  1. Well. that is obtainable but to get there u would have to workout with weights 3 - 4 times a week 40 - 60 mins

do some cardio 3 times a  week for 30 mins

spend some time doin ab work everyother day 5 - 10 mins

you would need to increase your protein to rebuild and tone your muscles for the exercise u are doing.. 2 shakes a day, plus food in your diet

you would have to eat more, brown rice, oatmeal, vegetables, salads..

maybe one day a week when u cheat and have a few things

diet coke u can drink all u want.. its fine.. its not healthy, but it will not hurt your fitness results...

  2. depends on what your body looks like now. if you are overweight or heavy then it will be hard work, but if u just need some toning, it wont be too bad!!!

  3. wow you'v changed what you've drank!! Hehe

Seriously you need to eat low carbs and lift heavy weights. If you do free weights this does all your core and ab muscles for you, which looks like Britney has done there. Squats are the best for abs, with a heavy weight. Forget doing abs work as they will not work how you want them to. Lift heavy, use free weights, and eat less carbs

  4. Im glad you stopped drinking diet coke, that stuff is terrible for you. The problem is that cranberry juice is worse. Try to replace the diet coke once a week with cranberry juice once a week, and drink water the rest of the time.

Is that hard work? Let's put it into numbers. her body on the left has about 10 pounds of extra fat on it compared to her body in the middle. 10 pounds of fat is about 40,000 calories. Going to the gym for you will probably mean burning about 400 calories. 2-3x a week is 1000 calories a week. It will take you 10 months to get that body you want.

Don't feel bad though! It's the process that matters, not the result. Don't worry if you don't see noticeable improvements in a week. It will take about 6-8 weeks for you to really enjoy your hard work. Stick with it girl, because in the end it's the effort that counts. Don't take short cuts, and don't give up.

  5. A lot has to do with genetics and metabolism.

In any event, maintaining the body takes discipline and dedication to a healthy diet and daily exercise.

  6. Well If you are committed to losing the weight it wouldn't be that hard,

But if you aren't then it may take awhile.

At least your body is decent to start off with.

Good luck with the goal. hoped this helped.

(Jack knives are really good for your abs)

  7. you just need the motivation for it

  8. A body like that would involve going to the gym five times a week.
