  1. go tell the judge that you won't do it again and plead for it was the first time driving

  2. 20 miles over or under the speed limit is standard reckless driving in the US.  Your rates will most definitely increase upon renewal if they run your motor vehicle report, and, if you are with a 'standard' insurance company such as Liberty Mutual, The Hartford, Metropolitan, they may choose not to renew your policy.  However, most insurers only run random re-checks on licenses upon renewal, so as long as you were not in an accident within this policy period, they will most likely not find out about it.

  3. It is very obvious that your Insurance will go up if you don't take traffic school. The range is anywhere from $10-300 depending on your Insurance company.

My best advice is to pay the ticket and do traffic school ONLINE. Best place to do traffic school ONLINE is http://www.TicketRelief.com.
