Is getting a wagon really worth it?

My mom wants to get one for my son. The thing is that they look too much. You know? You have to pull them along and they would seem awkward on a walk. They are big and heavy. I just don't see the point. I think we need to just stick with out stroller.

What do you guys think? Is it worth it and troublesome? Do you think sticking with our stroller would be best and more comfortable?

  1. ive seen a 3 year old fall asleep standing up with just her head on the couch. point of this story, kids dont care oabout comfort if they are doing something they want to do. kids have fun in wagons. my little ones have one and the love it. i dont really take them on walks with it but the play in it and my 3 year old pulls it around. if your mom wants to buy it then why not?

  2. sometimes they are convient for other things, we fit 3 kids in one for trick or treating. they can also hold coolers for a day at the zoo or park :)

  3. my son has a car like thing with a handle and thats how we goto the park in it cause he hates the stroller but loves the car thing

  4. we got a wagon for my son i like the stroller better it is a lot more easy to go for walks. when i use the wagon on walks by the time i get home i am tired and my back hurts. my son does like the wagon better then the stroller he can look at things better.

  5. i agree. you should get a wagon because its great for fairs and carnivals and stuff. It also gives your child more room and freedom in a wagon because your not pinned down. All you have is a seatbelt. Also, it's easier to get him in and out of. Plus, if it has a pop-up seat, you can always lay them down for a nap at the beach.

  6. I have 4 kids under 6, so experience can tell you that you definitely don't need it! I have bought every stroller made it seems, and the best that I've found is a double side by side jogging with a swivel front wheel. If you need something smaller/lighter weight/narrower  i like the tandem umbrella double stroller. folds compact and is easy to push even with two kids. The only time I use my wagon is to pull the kids around in the yard, and when we go to the zoo. But even then, its hard going up hill, and our zoo actually rents them for $3 a day. They are verry bulky and not worth the hassle.

  7. a child has a little more room in a wagon and its a different expierance then in a stroller.. it isnt hard to pull a wagon at all.. i have one for my twins and have had it since they were 1.5 years old and we love to take it on walks..
