Is getting hamsters a good idea?

Question

Me and my brother really want hamsters (Roborovski dwarf hamsters) buy our mum and dad say no. We have a dog and i'm a little afraid that he might try and eat them! What can i tell my parents about hamsters?

I've already:

Asked them both

Begged my mum

Written a list of prices (eg. cage : 21 $)

Written a page on why i want hamsters

Done a presentation on hamsters

What else can i do? Please help!

Well I think you gotta make a choice....hamster of dog? I think that owning hamster is really cute!
