Is getting your bikini area waxed professionally awkward?

I'm thinking of getting mine done sometime soon...But I was wondering if it was awkward? What happens exactly during it?

Sure, it is very intimate, but find a place with someone you feel comfortable with. It is the same with going to the gyno, I know a lot of my female friends prefer female doctors as well as waxers. You are free to ask around and find someone you would feel comfortable with.

depends on you, the providers are normally professional.  Once the girl came to a friend on mine to get waxed and she was turned on and the wax would not stick that was aquward for the technician.

If you get everything taken off, then yes its awkward as h**l. They make you lift your legs and everything so they remove all hair from every little crevice you can think of.

it might a be a little weird the first time, I was a little nervous too, and I was getting a brazilian...

but this lady was so professional and quick and talked to me about other things while she was doing it that I didnt feel so uncomfortable after..in fact it was a great experience..but make sure you go to someone you have been recommended to...

dont worry it will be fine... you are not her first client I'm sure she has wax many bikini areas before...so its not a big deal just relax and let her do her thing...

I just got that done for the first time a few days ago. I thought it would be akward, but it's not. These waxers have seen it all and don't care. But just warning you, it hurts!!!
