Is girl scouts/junior worth doing?

how much is it? is it worth doing more than softball. i already quit softball but might go back. please help!!

  1. I don't know why it has to be one or the other -- why not do both?  You can put as much effort into Girl Scouts that you want, or as little.  They are both fun, especially if you have an active troop.  My troop has earned their SCUBA certification, they have been swimming with dolphins, they have been to NYC and gone to a workshop with the cast of "Chicago", they have been to a marketing program at the Mall of America in Minneapolis, and now, we're planning a cruise and SCUBA trip to the Bahamas next summer. We've also been snow skiing, white water rafting, visited a BMW plant to see how cars are made, and done lots of service projects for younger girls.


  2. Each troop sets their own dues so the cost varies.  You should check with your old troop to see if they have room for you.  You can always be a Juliette scout.  It's everything of being in a troop except you work on the awards on your own.  You can still sell cookies too.
