  3. It wouldn't exactly be "frozen", since it is already a solid (or, technically, a 'glass', which is a bit different from both liquids and solids).

    However, the more you lower the temperature (like with a metal), the atoms move together and it becomes more brittle.

    However, this is more like a laboratory result than something to observe as a huge difference between winter and summer.

  5. Many things become more brittle when they become colder, but not all. Plastics and steel do, but pure copper does not. I don't think glass does to an appreciable degree. It's pretty much maxed out on the brittle scale already.
