  1. Yes it's a bunch of c**p I think.

  2. As a conspiracy theory it's not a very good one, China and the up and comer India have there own scientists who are coming to the same conclusions. China could not be forced by the U.S. to do anything these days it is more the U.S. and a good deal of the western world is dependent on China's exports. Yet for all this China is doing more to try and start using alternate energy than the U.S.

China has no environmental movement they have to worry about, no public outcry about GW, no elections to worry about, no reason to do anything, and still they are investing billions in solar and wind power.

  3. No, it's the opposite!  No one's forcing China (which has a lot worse pollution and a much larger population) to make any changes, yet all the focus is on the US and the UK.  The UK is already suffring under some of these economic schemes using global warming as an excuse to trade in "carbon" and drive up energy prices.

    http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/programmes/fi...

"Power generators received their allowances free of charge but were allowed to reflect the value of those in increased prices to customers, as if the companies had actually had to buy the allowances.

Energywatch believes this increased electricity bills by about 7% in 2005.

And according to one government estimate, that delivered windfall profits of up to £1.3bn to the generators in that year - higher than environmental campaigners had claimed last year.

However, so far the carbon scheme has brought no clear payback in terms of cutting emissions.

Provisional government figures from the Department for Environment Food and Rural Affairs (DEFRA) suggest CO2 output in Britain actually went up, by 1.25% last year wiping out a slight drop of 0.01% in 2005.

It is also reckoned that CO2 emissions across the EU also rose by between 1 and 1.5% over the last two years."

  4. you may be right but then again anything is possible.

  5. That sounds like my conspiracy theory! Are you Marian by any chance?

    Facts:

    - Humans produce just under 10% of the worlds global warming though carbon dioxide emissions.

    - The Earth just finished the end of the Ice Age which means the planet should be warming up. Therefore scientists today can not be sure that the earth has warmed up naturally or by us.

    - Americans do not like developing countries from taking over the economy, it has been said that the media probed oil companies for an explanation for the sudden rise in petrol prices, the media later found out that it was to cause problems for developing countries like India and China growing ahead. (SMCP Media News)

    - Everyone knows there were no weapons of mass destruction, America took Iraqs oil to help their own economical gains (stock market was great at the time).

    - Americans don't want to sign up the Kyoto deal with Japan, the global warming deal would drastically cause problems for the American economy and give the competitors an edge. (China and India love asking America to join, the American government hates it!) In the newspapers it states that the Americans said they won't sign the agreement unless China and India are involved too.

    - American government refuses to use Hydrogen powered full celled cars, natural sunflower powered cars etc to keep people using oil. Oil is a serious trillion dollar industry making the alternative use of fuel (the much more environmental way) against fed government law.

So If the conspiracy is true, global warming could have been made up by Al Gore who is laughing at us today.

American government is evil, but then again which government isn't?

Global warming could be happening a little but the news like CNN and many others like to try and exaggerate it 1000 times.

You just have to look at what is being done to understand the truth.

  6. well it can very well be used as a wepon. Since the US, Europeans, and asian countries are in the industrial period they are telling africa not to go to industrial period. Thats bogus.

Im not going to explain climate change right now.

  7. It's the opposite I think.  Designed to provide more money to China and other developing countries and drain developed economies. It's socialism...spreading the wealth evenly.

Disguised as a scientific concern called global warming, this scam is totally political.  They are taking money from everyone to support a leftist agenda which has nothing to do with carbon.  It's dangerous, but thankfully it's also falling apart.  You'll notice that everywhere it's biggest supporters are leftists.

  8. NO!!!!!!!!!!!!! DON'T BELIEVE ANYONE WHO TELLS YOU THAT ITS A RUMOR OR ANYTHING LIKE THAT!!!!!!!!!!

  9. np/  It has been research for about 20 year and found to be a credible threat that most of th worlds scientist agree needs action.  Just a few nut jobs think it is a conspiracy. Read and learn,

  10. Yes and no, for alot of reasons.

I think global warming has some truth, but to an extent. I think the media makes its sound bigger and worse.

Some also say that global warming is just a natural progression of the earth, and will happen no matter what we do.

  11. It's not like they'd actually be able to stop the developing countries without coming up with non-polluting technology that is cheaper than the polluting c**p.

There are some people who think that the third world needs to stay in poverty but they usually think that because they think it's the only way to save the planet, not the other way around (i.e. they don't tend to claim global warming is happening because they want people to live short miserable lives).

Besides, the scientific community is not very good at conspiracies (paranoid delusions of global warming denialists notwithstanding).

  12. I thought about. Then I thought about it again. Finally I thought about it once more and no, it doesn't make sense!

I simply couldn't see the link.

Maybe you can help us a bit with what you are thinking?

Is it something like only developed nations will be able to respond, and only locally, to the repercussions or that  GW isn't real but by making up reports and science the UK & US can convince developing nations not to develop?

Neither of these would be true but I need help on this...

  13. Yes, you could have padded the walls at last year’s Nobel Peace Prize award ceremony to control the eco-freaks spreading false fear.

  14. Yes its just to get people to buy into the hype and spend money on there products.
