happerning?  if you mean happening... the answer is DUH!!!  Have you turned on your tv lately?  Do you actully pay any attention to the news?  Common now... I think the answer is yes!!  Do you think the weather gets worse and worse just for fun??  Do you think the ice caps are melting because its getting colder?  Do you think temperatures are rising all over the world for nothing?  I would call this GLOBAL WARMING, my friend... Yes... G-L-O-B-A-L  W-A-R-M-I-N-G

Don't think about global warming. Think climate change.  Global warming is a scair mongers word.  It makes people think about the world becoming a dessert.  Its wrong.  The climate has, will and dose change.  The question is how much of this change is man made, and no one knows for shore.  But if you tell some one that Mt. St Hellens put more sulphur into the atmosphere than man has since the begging of the industrial revolution then that usually puts a flea in there ear.  Or tell them that during the Jurassic the average temp was 5 deg C higher than now with about 4% more oxyge in the atmospher.  And what ever hapens over the next 100 years we are still due an ice age in he next 10 to 15 thousand years.

Show them some prospective, life will endure.

It was, but if you go by NASA's measured data (not a model), you see that warming stopped in 1998, and has actually been cooling since 2002.  Of course you won't hear Al Gore say that.
