  1. It will stop in about 5.5 billion years when the sun begins to collapse down to the size of moon, and becomes a white dwarf.

  2. It all depends on us. The biggest cause of global warming out there? Is the cooling and heating of buildings. Believe it or not.

if we can build buildings and homes, malls and factories that heat and cool much more efficiently then we can stop the effects or arrest them severely.

I went to a global seminar on sustainable architecture. Buildings are much more wastful than vehicles.

  3. yes..it already has stopped...thanks for asking.

when bill and hil lose the election..global warming is lost..

  4. I dont know? are we ever gonna stop doing things that cause? Cars, hairspray, littering, and a whole lot of stuff that cause it people do every day. So i dont think global warming is ever going to stop.

It might stop after its done destroying everything.... and everyone

  5. NOOO!!!! i have done/seen studies of grwth of a species...we will get to a point were exponential growth outdoes teh earth and we swim in our own poo and die!!!!

  6. As soon as homo sapiens go extinct!

  7. It depends on the government i think they are  trying to lower the number of factories and better transportation but i dunno...

  8. The Earth is always either warming up or cooling down. When the Earth isn't warming, it's cooling.

  9. who says it started? its all B.S.

  10. "Global warming" is purely a natural temperature change that has been going on ever since the beginning of the Earth... so yes, global warming will stop... probably quite soon, and it will turn into "global cooling" which will probably be blamed on like the superior air-conditioning systems on small cars... which will lead to an influx of SUV cars, or something ridiculous like that...

  11. ya i guess so .. after we stop using petrol cars maybe and start woth the electric cars .. and so on

  12. the climate of earth is never going to decrease but we could stop it from increasing by making new solutions and ideas like re-usable sources of electricity and electric cars and stuff like that to make as little carbon dioxide as possable. There is one way to stop it but it would take a while. We could repair all of the amazon rainforest so that would convert most of the carbon dioxide to oxygen so global warming would stop. But that is incredibly hard and will probably never happen.

  13. Climate change is real and a natural part of the earth. It has been going on since the first rocks cooled off billions of years ago. Even in the short period of human existence there have repeatedly been "warmer" and "colder" periods.

The native Americans crossed the Bering Strait between Siberia and Alaska during two different periods of glaciation a few thousand years apart. They were chasing after those pesky wooly mammoths and great herds of migrating arctic critters. They all got stranded here when the weather warmed again.

In the last 2000 years there have been times of warmer and colder weather. at one point the weather in England was so nice for so long that their wine business rivalled France's. For about 150 years it would get so cold that the Thames river would freeze solid. The city of London held an annual fair on the river until the early 1800's when the weather changed again and the Thames no longer froze.

Here's a thought: What kind of SUV did the wooly mammoth drive?

  14. Yes, when the media stops making up lies

  15. Define "ever"?

Eventually the sun will expand and burn up the entire solar system but you and I won't be around to experience that.

Relax and live your life.  You can't do anything to change the laws of physics so enjoy the world you happen to live in now.

  16. yes. but how long and how much is up to us. if it gets bad enough we could wipe ourselves out and then the earth will return to its normal cycle.
