think about it this way...

if the earth was too warm for ice (caps) then there wouldn't be any in the first place- also all the oceans would be warm and there would be much more natural disasters like hurricanes.... :(

its all to do with greenhouse gases... (us humans are partly to blame- actually no the whole thing IS pretty much our fault)

Global warming comes from an excess of green house gases in the atmosphere. When light from the sun comes down into our atmosphere these green house gases trap the heat.
