    It wasn't really an April Fools.

    'Yeah, but we're the experts. Should I, should I phone them now? Tell them.'

              So Ted and Hank are global warming.

The evidence supporting the GW theory is compelling.  Another indicator that it's real is the fact that politicians are doing almost nothing about it.  Just think, you, like the rest of the young of the human race, are going to see the human race become extinct.  Which is one of the three things that the capitalist society was designed to do.  But we're all freeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee...

    When have all governments of the world and the best of the scientific community ever been in agreement before? Leftist governments, right wingers, communists, capitalists, all seem to agree that GW is real and humans are contributing. Never before has there been such strong broad based consensus on any issue.

    Now the bickering is all about how to proceed and who does what at whose expense. If you are still trying to argue about: is it real or not, sorry, that debate was settled some time ago.

  11. Half of it is, and half of it isn't. Global warming is a natural process, and it keeps all form of life on Earth alive. But on the other hand, we are making global warming a serious issue by producing huge amounts of CO2, which in effect, heats the atmosphere up. If the atmosphere gets too hot from pollution, then it will start to break down (which it already has). So no, it's not a big joke. What they don't tell you is that it IS natural, but we are causing the Earth to rapidly heat up, which is a very serious issue!

    Global warming is but a component, in a group of destructive forces at work such as ;deforestation,desertification,soil and water contamination ,irresponsible or wasteful utilization of bio resources , air pollution,Non sustainable Agriculture,over pumping carbon aquifers

    all concepts which are definitely not part of the Natural Processes of the Natural world

    WHICH WE ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR,

    The most prolific growth on this planet is part of the day in the mist and most of the time under clouds ,and the least growth is always directly in the sun .

    To exchange the one for the other means changing local climates

    We are exchanging Nature with Tar , concrete and open spaced mono cultures.

    In 300 years half of the planets forests have gone ,and in the last 50 years half of the wet lands ,and rain forests

    These Areas absorb heat during the day and release heat at night ,

    Cause cloud formation(shade).humidifying the air on the surface as well as releasing excess water at the roots that keep rivers flowing ,which in turn brings more water into the Environment .

    As well as contributing to absorbing carbon emissions as do the leaves of the trees together with the oceans .

    All in all many factors which directly affect the local Environment .

    The loss of the above resulting in rivers drying up ,less rain ,desertification,loss of habitat for many species and so on.

    dryer and hotter surface environments which can manifest in different weather patterns such as tornadoes or bush fires

    I may be stupid or Naive but somehow i believe that lots of these local environmental changes, can add up to affect global weather, If there are enough of them (and there are)

    And then on top of that comes the story of the effects of pollutants released into Nature and especially the Air ,by MAN http://earthissues.multiply.com/photos/a...

    A cocktail of events and a lot of the ingredients have MAN written all over them

    So it is safe to assume that we should look at ourselves ,just a teeny bit ,for possible improvements ,and rectifying Eco errors that are with in our powers.

    I think you're trying to get some opinions, but you're looking for unbiased ones, you should word your questions so that they don't show yourself in favor of one choice. That way, you'll get more diverse answers. For example, "What is your view on the validity of the global warming theory?" And be sure that you have a very good, scientific definition of "global warming" already in mind, so you can formulate your own opinion. Try searching "define:global warming" on Google (yes, I know, it's not Yahoo!), and notice the variances in the results.

  28. It's a big lie....perpetuated by scientists because you can only get funding for projects if you include an element of "enviromental issues" in your research.

    Ask yourselves a question......

    How can climatologists know that global warming is a fact?...they cant tell you if it's gonna rain next Wednesday!

    Too many factors are unknown about our climate and what affects it.....who rememebers the scare stories from the 1970's saying we are about to enter a global ice-age by 1990?

    Again....the only way the reserchers in the 1970's could raise money for reserch was to claim "climate change".

    No look again....no "global warming" now...it's "climate change"...talk about edging your bets!

    Want to know why "The West" has "climate change" and not developing countries like China?...it's all to do with the limited supply of oil.

    The Western hemisphere countries are being made to cut down on carbon dioxide production by the more efficient use of energy(use less oil)..so that countries like China can import more of the oil we would have in the past.

    After all who wants to fight a strong nuclear armed country over energy resouces when our govenments can make us use less and tax us more by scaring us into submission.
