  1. I'm assuming you're referring to high school and not college.

Physical relations are likely illegal if he's 18 or older. Specifics vary by state. It wouldn't normally be "illegal" to simply go to dinner or a movie, or perhaps attend a dance together.

Age differences can be quite large at a high school level. As a senior, he'll be in a very different social scene and preparing to graduate and attend college or find work. As a freshman, you're just coming out of the middle school / junior high level and still adapting to basic high school functioning, with several years still to go. It can be pretty awkward for your social networks to overlap if nothing else. If anything goes wrong, he's also leaving soon, but you still have years to take awkward consequences.

Though things might seem interesting on a superficial level right now, it's extremely rare for any romantic relations in comparable situations to survive long-term, and you really shouldn't expect them to.

If he's a nice enough guy, there shouldn't be anything wrong with hanging out at times, but getting romantically involved could become complicated and painful and quite different from what you might hope. You probably shouldn't "go out" with him any differently than you would any other good male friend.

If you have to ask if it's a bad idea, it probably is, and you probably know it already.

  2. He has only one reason to be "going out" with you.... and I suspect you have the same reason... pour some cold water on yourself and keep the knees together... you are setting yourself up to sabotage your life... don't do it.... but you wont listen to any one...and will probably have to learn "the hard way"... hope you can recover.

  3. Most of us seniors are a wee bit old to be wanted to try to keep up with a youngster of about 14. We could probably be your grandparents.

  4. This section is for senior citizens, not school kids.

  5. Not a bad idea at all! Give me a call. And I don't mind if you call me

Gramps-I get it all the time.

  6. I think that age and experience difference is too great, you probably should stick with guys closer to your own age. You are just leaving middle school and he is about to go off to college or get a job, youre in two different places in your lives.

  7. You're not old enough.  He could even do some prison time, if things went that way.  Don't even consider it.

  8. You must be about 14 maybe 15? as a freshman, and he may be 17 or 18. I may sound prudish, but single dating at your age should be confined to groups and adult supervision for the younger person. I know where you are coming from. When I was your age, I had a few guys that were seniors want to date me, but my parents said, no, and made me wait until I was 15 and I double dated. You may really want to date him, but I would wait. JMO If he really likes you he will understand. You have many years to date. Being under 16, and he may be 18 can be a problem. Talk to your parents and hopefully they will lead you to make a responsible decision along with them. :)

  9. its not a bad idea... if he is a good guy.

but if you think he is an a*****e...

then he probably just wants to get into your pants..

    so be careful.

becuase i had a friend who went  for a senior when i was a freshman and she got ****** over.

if you have anymore question seriously feel free to ask.
