Is going to college such a bad idea when you have a baby on the way and your working part time?

we have the support our parents are helping us out. both working and going school. so what do you guys think? i dunno some idiot told me not to go college he said it was a bad priority? i mean he that guy doesnt work o take care any of his kids! does he have a right too tell me that?

Further education is always good.  The better the opportunities for you, the better for your child.

i know lots of people who have done it , as long as your pregnancy is not high risk then its fine just ke sure your credits are transferable

Although it is true that your college experience will probably be more difficult, it would almost be irresponsible to let that one person stop you from enhancing your future.  College could ultimately lead to a much better life for your child, because in general those with a college education are paid better.  And that should be a huge priority for you.

well you should stip working until the baby comes and get help from the goverment .

then, when the baby grows take it to nursery and go on full time education and work less than 16 hours a week and i think that would do.

but, think about it if you have no job you can't take care of the baby unless the gov is helping you.

I would take it very slowly, meaning I would go to college but only take a class or two per semester.  With a baby on the way and a job, you are going to be exhausted mentally, physically, and emotionally.

well I think it largely depends on how advanced you are and whether your pregnancy is low risk or not. Otherwise there is no reason why you should not work and go to college. Its not just good for you but for your baby as well. I work and at the same time Im a college student-and am 13 weeks pregnant.

If your parents are going to help you while your going to school to secure a future for you baby then good for you.
