it would be great if the people who answer this question are actual devry graduates. i just want to know if it is a good choice. they claim that 90% of their graduates find work. I'm not sure if it is good work though. and the school is accredited, so i assume that the education must be the same level as any other school right? just any information of whether i should bother to apply there is helpful.

  1. Depends on the degree you are pursuing.  In the end, it is how you apply your self to school.  I am a Devry Graduate and work for Cisco Systems.  I work with people who attended the best colleges in the United States.

Finding work, that is a different story.  It depends on the individual and how hot the market is for that career.  Career services will schedule and interview with X company, but you have to be marketable.  Get good grades, learn your subject very well, get a job or internship for experience  and you will outshine in any university.   I still know people who attended Devry and are making over 100k a year.  Best of luck to ya!

  2. Ask to see a list of jobs and salaries that recent grads got. This is a trade school, not a real college. If you choose a trade that's in demand you'll get decent work most probably, but ask. It ain't going to ever make you rich.

  3. You may want to consider a different school for your education. DeVry is not a well-respected college among employers. Some will list it in their ads that they will not take DeVry or U. of Phoenix graduates. Research online, either consider community college or a different trade school with more respect in your local area.
